This summer the Austin Public Library invites you to join us in our Summer Reading Program “Journey Beyond.” The instructions are simple, following them is easier than wading in calm waters. This is all there is to it:
- Sign up at the Library or online.
- Read, read, read.
- Record books in your reading log/entry form.
- Return completed log/form to any library location.
In addition to a summer full of great reading, we’ve got weekly events for young people of all ages. You can pick up a schedule at your local branch, or visit us on the web for more information and to sign up.
The 2010 Austin Public Library Summer Reading Program is made possible and sponsored in part by Austin Energy and a Loan Star Libraries Grant authorized by the Texas Legislature and awarded by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. Through this support the Library is able to provide a dynamic, enriched summer program for the youth of Austin.
